Environmental Management Research Participation Program for the US Army Environmental Command

The United States Army Environmental Command (USAEC) offers graduate students a yearlong opportunity to research topics close to their academic pursuits in MD. Interns will complete the program at Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU) located in Belcamp, Maryland. This program is also administered by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). There are opportunities to participate in environmental projects involving cultural and natural resources, restoration, compliance, conservation, pollution prevention, validation, demonstration, technology transfer, quality assurance and quality control, training, information management and reporting, and related programs. Students will participate in research and development opportunities. This award is renewable.


Must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher.

Must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours per academic year.
