The Association on American Indian Affairs (AAIA) offers numerous graduate scholarships for Native Americans for 1 year. This scholarship is for American Indian and Alaskan Native full-time students who are working toward a graduate degree in any academic field of study.

Eligibility: Open to students in any curriculum who are seeking a Master’s Degree or anything beyond; Applicants must be enrolled in federally recognized tribes; A copy of tribal enrollment is required; There is no minimum blood quantum requirement; An Essay is required; Applicants must be enrolled full time both fall and spring semester at an accredited institution of higher learning; Applicants must be a Native american from continental U.S. tribes or Alaska Native; Applicants must have a minimum need of $750 both fall and spring semester to be eligible.

Citizenship: Open only to U.S. citizens. Must also be enrolled tribal citizens of their Nation (Continental U.S. or Alaska only).

Deadlines: 1st June 2016
